We serve multi-course meals prepared with classic French techniques using carefully selected ingredients from across Hokkaido—Dōsan beef, seasonal seafood, and vegetables processed with particular care. From the amuse-bouche to the desserts there is a consistent narrative, and each dish evokes the season’s landscapes and aromas. Desserts that require technical skill, such as sorbets and soufflés, are highlights, and even the coffee and petit fours served at the end contribute to a highly praised, well-crafted composition.

The circular building facing the street that leads to Hokkaido Shrine is striking. On the first floor is a flower shop, the second floor houses a wine bar and the front desk, and the third floor opens into the main dining room. The space, wrapped in a rich, calming classic interior and soft lighting, creates an elegant, comfortable atmosphere that is not overly formal. It is also popular as a venue for anniversaries and dates.

Founded in 1990, a vintage year celebrated for its exceptional wines. Located in Maruyama, near Hokkaido Shrine, it has continued to refine its technique and hospitality over successive generations, growing into one of Hokkaido’s leading French restaurants and being continuously selected for the French EAST Top 100 Restaurants in 2021, 2023, and 2025. The manager, Ryuji Fukuda, has long preserved the tradition of service.
Kazuki Fukue
The fifth head chef, Mr. Fukue, leads the kitchen. He engages deeply with Hokkaido's ingredients and environment, and, building on the solid foundation of classical French culinary techniques, continues to create dishes that capture the land's memory and seasonal character on each plate. While respecting tradition, his highly creative approach crafts courses that offer new discoveries with every visit.
